West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has labelled his Chelsea youth experience as "extremely tough" as both the Blues and Manchester United remain linked to a potential summer transfer.
Rice has already spoken about an influential phone call with John Terry and a certain transfer condition hint that could help sway his mind in the summer recently, and one things that is already common knowledge about the Hammers' midfielder was his experience with the Chelsea academy in his early years.
West Ham's No.41 was released from the academy at the age of 14, whilst best pal Mason Mount was kept on - a decision that benefited the Irons in the end but has looked rather costly for the Blues in the long run, with a valuation of over £100million on his head if Marina Granovskaia was to make a return to west London possible.
