Declan Kidney vows to ‘keep the flag flying’ at London Irish despite wage delays

London Irish Director of Rugby Declan Kidney has vowed to 'keep the flag flying' despite the club's failure to pay staff, with this weekend's tie with Exeter set to go ahead.

The club's ownership status is uncertain and with current owners involved in negotiations with prospective buyers, staff have not been paid for the month of April.

There were suggestions that players may go on strike and boycott this weekend's game in protest against the situation, but Kidney has refuted this suggestion and instead insisted his side will give it their all for the remaining of the season.
