TALERU (CHAMBA): Despite Chamera Lake providing a majestic view and an emerging paradise for boating enthusiasts not only from Himachal Pradesh but also from neighbouring Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, the tourists visiting here are greeted with its littered shores, especially near the boat stand which has become an eyesores for tourists.
The poorly maintained tourists spot has given a serious setback to the ‘Chalo Chamba’ campaign launched by Chamba administration to attract tourists to its scenic places with an aim to spur the economic growth of this aspirational district.
