Deborah James 'very happy' as she shares new challenge - and fans brand her 'incredible'

Deborah James has been hailed as "incredible" by fans after announcing yet another bid to raise awareness.

The BBC star, 40, has been tirelessly campaigning after she was diagnosed with incurable bowel cancer five years and is currently receiving end-of-life care at her parents' house in Woking.

So far, she has raised over £6.7million for Cancer Research UK as part of her Bowelbabe Fund, which she first set up to people could "buy her a drink" to celebrate her life.

Taking to Instagram this afternoon, Deborah revealed that she was partnering with Tesco raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer on of their Luxury Soft loo roll.

The supermarket, along with with WEPA UK, will be donating £300,000 to Bowelbabe Fund.

Revealing the news on her social media account, Deborah said that she was "very happy that this is happening".

In a post, she wrote: "I’m so proud to be exclusively partnering with @tescofood to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer on of their Luxury Soft loo roll. Together with WEPA UK they are donating £300,000 to Bowelbabe Fund for @cr_uk

Her followers flocked to comment on the post, with one writing: "You never stop Debs. You have raised so much awareness and money it is truly unbelievable and will help an incredible amount of people ."

While another commented: "Thank you Dame Deborah James on behalf of my late daughter who lost her life to colorectal cancer at the age of 35 in 2019. Bless you xxx."

A third wrote: "You are incredible, your strength and resilience are to be admired, you are actually my hero Dame Deb xx."
