Deborah James gave ITV viewers a heartfelt message as she opened up about her health on Thursday's show.
The cancer campaigner addressed Lorraine and the rest of the team after they took part in Race For Life last night in honour of her.
The Scots presenter and her team from the ITV show decided to take part in the run after Deborah, known as Bowel Babe online, revealed she is receiving end of life care.
She revealed she was "continuing to feel blessed that she had another day" and she had already outlived the life expectancy diagnosis she had received from the hospital.
The 40-year-old has been battling bowel cancer since 2016 and has been on an awareness raising mission to break the stigma surrounding bowel cancer.
Lorraine took to Instagram once the team had completed the course, and wrote: " @crukraceforlife tonight! Can’t begin to tell you how much I love all of these fabulous women in my @lorraine team. Blessed to work with them - and all of us inspired by the force of nature that is @bowelbabe #friends #raceforlife."
Speaking on the ITV show, she added it was a "surprise" she was still alive but believes it's down to "having that sense of purpose".
Deborah said: "Hello Team Lorraine! Firstly congratulations on running Race For Life last night to celebrate life, to celebrate why we're all here and to raise vital funds. I am doing OK , I am stable and stable is a good thing. I'm taking life slowly.
"I'm not on social media too much and just spending time in the garden with my family, a much slower pace of life, which is not what I'm used to.
"Physically I'm quite tired but mentally I'm still a campaigner, still asking people to check their poo. I'm still on it about getting that messaging on loo roll across the country.
"The No Butts campaign - absolutely we want it spread far and wide. So a bit about Race For Life - let me tell you why it's so important.
"I've been an ambassador for them since 2019 - you can walk it, everybody can join in, your kids can be there, you can celebrate life, celebrate somebody else's life.
"But it is about having fun and that is why Race For Life is so important to me. Well done Team Lorraine for doing it last night and hello Lorraine!
"I think I'm taking life day by day, as I said at the beginning, I'm just continuing to feel blessed to have another day, knowing that my time is limited.
"But at the same time, truth be told, I've already outlived - yet again - what I was told when I was sent home from the hospital!
"Even I'm a bit surprised but I think it's having that sense of purpose, getting involved and continuing with the campaign."
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV
