BBC's Deborah James has shared the signs of bowel cancer she experienced before her diagnosis.
The 40-year old was diagnosed with a severe case of bowel cancer in 2016, and has since shared her journey with her BBC podcast, 'You Me and the Big C', written a best selling book, 'F*** You Cancer' and has been heavily involved in charitable work to raise money for cancer research.
After writing a heartfelt post on her Instagram account announcing she was receiving end-of-life care, she has raised a staggering £4 million for her Bowelbabe Just Giving page. It has since been announced that she will be honoured with a damehood.
