Deborah James shared a touching moment on her Instagram this week, saying that she is embracing "diamond moments in the rough". The cancer campaigner, who has more than 930,000 followers on the social network as Bowel Babe, was sharing the joy as she smiled in the sunshine.
The podcaster had ventured out to the luxurious Beaverbrook estate in Surrey, just weeks after she was awarded a damehood by the Queen. The 40-year-old mum-of-two has been at home with her parents for more than a month now on hospice at-home care.
In her post, shared yesterday (June 10), Deborah smiled widely and wore a pretty floral dress from her charity fashion collection with In The Style, saying: "Happy Friday! Feeling greatful to be able to enjoy another moment of sunshine on my face, and food that makes me smile! Just trying to find the diamond momements in the rough - but when you look hard enough you realise they can still be there!

Deborah was initially diagnosed with stage four bowel cancer in December 2016. She has raised more than £6.5million after launching her fundraising efforts in May.
