Prince William has visited Deborah James at her home to present her a coveted Damehood, while toasting with afternoon tea and champagne.
The 40-year-old journalist from London, who has been dubbed as Bowel Babe online, has been campaigning to raise awareness of bowel cancer, raising far in excess of her initial goal for Cancer Research.
The Mirror reports that her JustGiving page has reached the £5million milestone following donations from over 250,000 supporters, including high-profile figures such as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
