Dame Deborah James has 'rebellious hope' and it's what has kept her going since being diagnosed with incurable cancer in 2016, she revealed on Instagram last week, and she doesn't plan on letting that go now. An inspiration to so many people across the UK, she has raised awareness and millions of pounds for a number of cancer charities through her Bowelbabe fund on JustGiving.
And while last month she revealed she had moved to end-of-life care at her parents, Alistair and Heather's, home in Woking to spend her final days surrounded by her family, it seems she has one more mission to accomplish: not letting anyone steal her thunder at the last hurdle.
