The death toll from Israel’s airstrikes on Lebanon on Wednesday has tragically risen to 23, as reported by the country’s Ministry of Public Health.
Most of the fatalities occurred in the southern regions of Lebanon. Specifically, four individuals lost their lives in Joun, three in Ain Qana, two in Tibneen, and three in Bint Jbeil. Additionally, three people were killed in the mountain village of Maaysrah located north of Beirut. Furthermore, seven individuals tragically lost their lives due to what the ministry described as “consecutive Israeli airstrikes” on towns in the Baalbek-Hermel region in the Beqaa Valley in eastern Lebanon.
Aside from the devastating loss of life, dozens of individuals were also injured in the airstrikes, highlighting the widespread impact of the violence.
