The death toll from Hurricane Milton has tragically risen to at least 14 in Florida, with the latest fatality reported in Hillsborough County, which includes Tampa. The unfortunate incident occurred when a woman in her late 70s was found under a large tree branch and pronounced dead on Thursday morning.

According to city officials, the woman was engaged in post-hurricane restoration efforts when the branch fell on her. Despite the storm having passed, its impact continues to be felt as communities grapple with the aftermath of the disaster.
