The death toll has tragically climbed to at least 12 following Israel's strike on southern Beirut, as reported by Lebanon's health ministry. Additionally, a further 66 individuals have been injured, with nine of them currently in critical condition.
The strike resulted in the collapse of at least two residential buildings in the Jamous area of the city's southern suburbs. The Israeli attack was specifically aimed at a top Hezbollah commander, leading to significant destruction and loss of life in the region.
