Death of elderly prisoner at HMP Low Moss to be probed by inquiry

Prison HMP Low Moss Scottish Prison Service Police Scotland Falkirk Sheriff Court Police

An elderly prisoner has died at HMP Low Moss on the outskirts of Bishopbriggs.

Gerard Hooks, 76, passed away within the prison on April 20, The Scottish Prison Service have confirmed.

He was convicted at Falkirk Sheriff Court in 2021.
