It is with great sadness we announce San passed away suddenly at home on 18th April 2022 aged 72 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late John (now reunited). Much loved and devoted Mam of Paul and Joanne.
Precious Nana of Jake, Summer, Poppy, Cole and Tilly. Dear Mother-in-law of Lyndsay and Trevor. Loving sister of Shirley and a treasured auntie. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Born in Bacup in 1920, then moved to Whitworth after marriage to Jim. In her 50s Edith & Jim moved to Blackpool to keep a guest house, moving back to Whitworth upon the death of Jim. Participated fully in the local community at Masseycroft.
