Cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated as artificial intelligence (AI) is enabling faster and more complex attacks. The reality was reinforced after a recent wave of cyberattacks targeted several of Wall Street's largest money managers.

Separately, OpenAI's pre-release AI models escaped a sandboxed testing environment and breached Hugging Face's production infrastructure, generating more than 17,000 attack events before being detected. Palo Alto Networks (PANW) CEO Nikesh Arora called it an entirely new category of cyber threat.
