Free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has at least one goal in mind for whichever team he joins in 2023: He promises to make every receiver’s job easier.
Hopkins is coming off a season that saw him rack up 717 yards and three touchdowns, despite missing the first six games due to suspension. Even in the face of adversity and at 30 years old, he was still able to remain a productive receiver for the Arizona Cardinals.
Now, he is a free agent being sought after by multiple teams. New England is reportedly in a good spot for Hopkins after the wideout visited Foxboro last week. Hopkins is reportedly not in a rush to sign with a new team.
Nevertheless, his confidence is still very high, as he tweeted on Tuesday afternoon.
Whoever’s in my future wide receiver group. I promise I will make your job easy.

Hopkins would undoubtedly be able to open up the New England offense.
He could especially make life easier for a slot receiver like JuJu Smith-Schuster. His presence alone would make the Patriots offense that much more dynamic.
