I'm A Celebrity... South Africa star Dean Gaffney has revealed that he would be more than willing to make a return to EastEnders.
Dean, 45, is best known for his role as Robbie Jackson on the BBC One soap having first joined the cast way back when in 1993.
After spending a decade playing Robbie, the soap star decided to call it quits ten years later in 2003 - but that wasn't the last we saw of him.
Dean made an epic comeback to Albert Square in 2017 and remained in the soap until 2019 when he once again decided to call it quits on his long-running role.
Although Dean hasn't appeared on the soap for over four years, the I'm A Celebrity contestant has now admitted that he would be very open to reprising his role as Robbie and making an epic return to his EastEnders 'family'.
Discussing a potential comeback during Friday's instalment of the ITV competition, Dean told his fellow campmates Joe Swash and Carol Vorderman that he would never be able to turn down an invitation to rejoin the cast and the soap which helped to make him a household name.
When asked by fellow EastEnders star Joe if he would ever consider going back, Dean replied: "I would, definitely."
"I left it a couple of years ago now, but I've been back probably about five times since.
Elsewhere, Joe, who played the role of Mickey Miller on the BBC One soap, making his debut in 2003, admitted that he was less than impressed with his exit from the programme.
Joe, 41, said he's never been asked to return but would be very open to it.
The actor-turned-TV personality said in all the time he was on the soap, he never got to take part in one of the show's iconic 'doof doof' moments, not even when his character departed the programme to become a bell boy in Norwich.
Speaking in the jungle about a possible return to the BBC soap, he said: "I wouldn’t mind it. You know exactly what you’re doing, when you’re doing it, how you’re doing it. But they’ve never asked me, mate, not once."
"I had the worst outro ever! I didn’t even leave at the end of the episode. So usually you leave at the end of the episode and you get the 'doof doof'. Mine, I went to Norwich to be a bell boy at a hotel," he said.
"Mid-scene I just walked into the Vic and went, ‘Right, see you later’. They turned back to Phil, turned back to me and I’d gone. I was like, 'What, that’s it?' I was there five years and not one doof doof!"
Joe said EastEnders, alongside I'm A Celebrity, has always been a huge part of his life.
