Kilmarnock's chase for Dean Campbell has paid off in style with the Aberdeen midfielder heading to Rugby Park on-loan for the season.
Derek McInnes made the midfielder a top target when he took the Rugby Park job, fighting off strong interest from Rochdale and Leyton Orient to snap-up the Scotland Under-21 cap.
Campbell has had limited game time but a lot of that has been out of position at left-back and will now get the chance to thrive under his hold boss once again.
He could make his debut in Friday’s Championship trip to Arbroath as Killie look to strengthen their title push against Dick Campbell's side.
It's been a bright start under McInnes and now he hopes his action-packed January window pays off for the rest of the season.
Kilmarnock also confirmed the loan signing of Declan Glass from Dundee United on loan for the season.
The 21-year-old said: “I’m absolutely delighted. It happened very quickly and I’m thrilled to be here.”
