A major road in Edinburgh has been closed as police confirm the body of a man has been found nearby.
The Dean Bridge has been closed since 10am today, with drivers warned to avoid the area and take necessary diversions.
This comes as emergency services raced to the scene in the city centre amid reports of a body being found.

Police Scotland have closed the bridge on either side with the current cordon stretching back to Queensferry Road due to the ongoing incident.
A section of the Water of Leith footpath underneath the Dean Bridge is also reported to have been closed.
Scottish Fire and rescue were also scene at the scene carrying a dinghy down to the Water of Leith which runs under the bridge.
Police Scotland now confirm the closures are as a result of a body being found at the site.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said:
“We were made aware of the body of a man beneath Dean Bridge in Edinburgh shortly after 10.30am on Wednesday, 27 April.
“Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
Lothian Buses have also issued advice to passengers hoping to have used services travelling across Dean Bridge and Queensferry Road, with the 19, 36, 37, 41, 43, 47 and 113 re-routed.
An update from the travel provider said:
"Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Dean Bridge and part of Queensferry Road and are instead diverted via Drumsheugh Gardens, Chester Street, Douglas Gardens, Belford Road and Queensferry Terrace in both directions until further notice."
Traffic currently coming northbound towards Dean Bridge is being diverted along Randolph Crescent, with motorists coming down from Shandwick place towards Orchard Brae also diverted along Randolph Crescent.
