Deadpool actor T.J. Miller has confirmed he won't be returning for the third instalment of the movie franchise because of Ryan Reynolds.
The actor, 41, admitted he was left feeling uncomfortable on set of the previous movies because leading actor Ryan, 45, was allegedly "mean" to him.
T.J. - who played Deadpool's friend and bar owner Weasel in the films - addressed his reasons for quitting the movie sequel during an appearance on The Adam Corolla Show as the show host quizzed him on the decision.
Describing the perceived tension between him and Ryan, he admitted feeling the Just Friends actor had treated him unkindly.
He said: "As the character, he was, like, horrifically mean to me. But to me. As if I'm Weasel.
"He was like, 'You know what's great about you, Weasel? You're not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it's funny and then we can leave and get back to the real movie'."
Yogi Bear star T.J. then confessed he had 'kind of listened and thought it was weird' but claimed he just walked away when the director called cut.
T.J. suggested Ryan felt insecure around him as he said: "That's exactly why he said that. Because I'm not funnier than he is at all, right? And I haven't been in more movies than him."
T.J. then went on to say he had no desire to work with Ryan ever again - but had no hard feelings towards him.
He continued: "Would I work with him again? No. I would not work with him again. I sorta wish him well, because he's so good at Deadpool, and I think it's weird that he hates me.
"I don't wish them any ill will. I think [Ryan] should make a Deadpool 3 and continue to make movies. I just think he doesn't like me, and I thought it was weird how he expressed that."
Mirror Online has contacted Ryan's representatives for comment.
Meanwhile, Hugh Jackman is set to reprise the role of Wolverine one last time for Deadpool 3.
Ryan - who is close friends with the actor - made a comical announcement of the news in a teaser video that showed him struggling to think of ideas for the third movie.
As Ryan tells fans he has an idea he thinks they will love, Hugh walks in and up the stairs.
Ryan then asks him: "Hey, Hugh. You want to play Wolverine one more time?"
Hugh replies: "Yeah, sure, Ryan."
Hugh first starred as Wolverine in the 2000 X-Men movie, starring in a string of movies until 2017 and the release of Logan which saw him step down from the role and hang up his claws.
While Hugh walked away from the Wolverine at that point, he has previously admitted he would like to reprise his role for an Avengers movie one day.
