
On Tuesday, a devastating fire broke out at a nightclub in Istanbul, Turkey, resulting in the loss of at least 29 lives. The incident occurred during daytime repair work at the nightclub located in the Besiktas district on the European side of the city.
According to reports from the Istanbul governor’s office, an additional eight individuals sustained injuries, with seven of them in serious condition. All of the victims were identified as construction workers who were present at the site when the fire started.
