'I am so sorry': diabetic driver speaks over pub crash

A diabetic has apologised in court to the families of five people who died after he passed out behind the wheel and crashed into the front of a pub.

William Swale, 69, spoke publicly for the first time on Tuesday as he gave evidence on the first day of an inquest into the deadly 2023 crash in Daylesford, regional Victoria.
