Steve Cooper has been asked about Nottingham Forest's injury list almost as much as he has about transfers in his press conferences this season.
Publicly at least, the Welshman refuses to complain about the number of absentees. He has consistently made clear he won't dwell upon those who are missing or "cry" over how many are on the treatment table.
But privately, he could be forgiven for being desperate for some respite on that front. Losing two centre-backs to the same injury at the exact same time, seven minutes into a game, is utterly remarkable; a real kick in an already battered gut. It set an unwanted Premier League record, too, for the earliest a side has brought off two starters.
