The boss of bank note printer De La Rue said the group remains in talks over a possible sale of the company after recently striking a deal to offload its authentication division.

Clive Vacher, chief executive of De La Rue, told the PA news agency the firm is still in discussions with suitors after being approached by “multiple parties” interested in potentially buying the firm as a whole, or its remaining currency division.
