DC Young Fly has opened up on the sadness he feels following the tragic death of Ms Jacky Oh at the age of 32.
The Wild N Out co-stars shared three kids together. Jacky was confirmed to have passed away on June 2, and previously DC Young Fly had only released a one-line statement.
However, now he has had the time to gather his thoughts, the reality TV star took to social media to pay a heartfelt tribute to the late star.
In a post penned to his 12.5million followers, he wrote a lengthy statement in which he revealed he had been in no rush to share his grief as he was still hoping it was all a dream.
"You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW your soul was beautiful," he said. "You always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other!!!"
He continued: "Never had to worry about our kids loving each other cause you were on top of Dat!!!"
The star admitted his last conversation saw him pray for the mum-of-three before he added: "Love you forever and our kids are super strong."
The emotional post also included a number of images of the pair, including one from a pregnancy shoot. There were also several cute family photos and a funny clip of the pair getting caught on kiss-cam at a sports game.
Fans and friends were quick to share messages of support with the star in the comments section. Among them was actor Damon Wayans who wrote: "Stay strong brudda."
Nino Brown also said: "God will protect you and them kids forever! You lost her in the physical but gained her as an angel. God don't make mistakes it's all for a reason."
Jacky's passing was confirmed in a statement by BET Media Group last week which read: "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N' Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed.
"Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild N' Out cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children.
"The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time."
