DC Police Coordinating Search And Rescue After Reported Plane Crash

Authorities in Washington, DC are currently coordinating a search and rescue operation in the Potomac River following reports of a passenger plane crash. The DC Police, along with other agencies, are actively involved in the operation.

In a joint statement issued by the DC Police, DC Fire, and MPD, it was stated that there is currently no confirmed information regarding casualties resulting from the incident. The statement emphasized that the situation is still developing.
