Clare GAA legend Davy Fitzgerald and his wife Sharon O’Loughlin have welcomed their first child together.
The happy couple revealed Sharon gave birth to Daithi Og in May but they kept the news quiet until now.
Davy said the new arrival is “one of the best things that has ever happened” to him and he’s feeling “chuffed”.

The Ireland’s Fittest Family star is already dad to a 25-year-old Colm, from his previous marriage to Ciara Flynn.
He added: “It’s different for Colm. Like 25 years on and he ends up with a brother. You know what, I don’t think that’s a bad thing either that there’s two of them together now.”
The delighted dad said Sharon will barely let him help with the baby as she’s “very attached” to him.
Davy revealed: “Let’s put it like this. Sharon is amazing at what she does. She won’t let Daithi Og out of her sight. She won’t let me do anything.
“She is very attached to him, but you know it’s been a good thing for us.”
Davy admitted they kept news of the baby’s arrival under wraps as they are a “very private” couple. Davy explained: “We haven’t really broadcast it too much.
“We want Daithi Og to have his own chance to be very normal and do his own thing.”
With Davy boasting a decorated GAA career as a player and manager and Sharon a former championship camogie player, will they encourage Daithi Og to follow in their footsteps?
He said: “I might get him ready with a golf club or something, we’ll see what comes. Whatever he wants to do, we’ll support him.
“He might just stick to the golf and make life easy.
“Daithi Og is in trouble, between my competitive nature and, trust me, Sharon is ultra-competitive.
“She’s as competitive as it gets, so he has no chance.”
