Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace returns to ITV tonight, with hosts Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell back for a fifth series.
The emotional programme follows people who were abandoned as babies, often in the first days and weeks of their lives, who until now have had no way of uncovering their own identities.
The team behind Long Lost Family has combined genetic genealogy with DNA technology to try to help more than thirty people unlock the secrets of their past. All are searching for answers to the most fundamental questions: when’s my birthday; where do I come from; who are my parents and who am I?

Davina, 55, and Nicky have presented the show, and its origin programme Long Lost Family, since 2011. Aside from this, Davina has had a decades-long career in television, having sprung to fame on MTV back in the 90s.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Davina is worth around £4m, likely due to her extensive TV work as well as being the face of a number of brands. She is currently a brand ambassador for Garnier, as well as retail giant JD Williams, alongside friend Amanda Holden.
Davina and her boyfriend, hairdresser Michael Douglas, also appear in the current series of Celebrity Gogglebox. She is believed to have been dating celebrity stylist Michael for three years, though decided to keep their relationship private initially.
Davina previously told how she and Michael, 47, who works as a celebrity stylist, have an agreement to not publicly discuss their relationship.
The presenter told OK! Magazine: “We’ve got an agreement that I don’t talk about our relationship, because our exes and kids don’t have a right to reply, so it’s not fair."
Davina split from ex husband Matthew Robertson in 2017. The pair share three children - Holly, 21, Tilly, 19, and Chester, 16.
Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace is on tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX
