Davina McCall responds to rumour of her being 'dead at 55'

Davina McCall has responded after a viral video suggested she had died aged 55.

The former Big Brother presenter commented on the TikTok video, where a lad told his family members about her 'death'. In the short clip, uploaded by TikTok user @atilla.the.hunty, a man gasped before he said: "Oh my god, Davina McCall found dead, 55."

His three relatives, who were enjoying a drink on the couch together, all erupted in shock with one saying: "This happened last time I had Christmas here. When George Michael died." But the woman didn't agree as she said: "Bit different."

Luckily, Davina was able to prove to all 803,000 people who had viewed the video that she was actually alive - and made them laugh while doing so.

Commenting on the lack of tears, Davina wrote: "Tbh I need more of a reaction than that" following by a crying laughing emoji. Fans were delighted that she responded and was still actually living and breathing.

One user said: "FINALLY! One of the celebrities replied to one of these. Amazing." Another added: "Have you seen Davina McCall’s response? I’m crying." A third simply said: "Icon."

It comes following a TikTok trend where people announce to their families that certain celebrities have died to see how they will react. But of course all of the celebs that they mention are actually alive and kicking but that doesn't stop some reacting with screams of horror or actual tears at the false news.
