Davina McCall has made a surprising sex life confession - that she enjoys orgasms when she is asleep.
The 55-year-old television presenter has opened up about her most intimate moments while discussing a book that dissects the myths and realities of the female anatomy.
In recent years, Davina has been praised for raising awareness about the menopause - sharing her own experience of the condition as well as hosting documentaries about the natural event.
Now she is exploring other aspects of the female body and how it acts - turning her attention to the way female bodies experience orgasms.
She told her podcast Making The Cut, which she hosts alongside boyfriend Michael Douglas, 48, that she has enjoyed nocturnal climaxes.
Davina made the revelation while discussing The Happy Vagina Book by podcaster Mika Simmons saying: “I’ve had an orgasm in my sleep - several. It’s great!”
“This book you can pick up, put down, you can read a page and there’s always something on it that’s very helpful.
"It’s about everything about women and their vaginas and fertility — everything from sex, there’s quite a lot about sex, types of orgasm.”
Meanwhile, Davina recently revealed that she and boyfriend Michael are enjoying finding new traditions to celebrate together now they live at the same address.
She previously explained on their podcast: “I am quite enjoying as a new couple doing new things, because we are newly living together.
“It's quite nice making new traditions because we did that before Christmas, we sat down together and talked about it: ‘Ok, blank space, what shall we make tradition from now on?’.”
The TV icon and her hairdresser boyfriend shacked up together at the end of last year - and enjoyed their first Christmas as a couple under one roof after going public with their romance back in 2019.
They explained on their podcast that they enjoyed watching King Charles III's Christmas speech, with Davina saying: "My granny and my dad were ardent royalists; my sister was an ardent royalist.
"I have to admit, I never really watched the Queen's Speech but I was really interested to watch the King's speech this year because it was the first one.
“I loved it because Rebecca stood up and did a salute because my dad would have done that and I loved her for that. I really liked watching it. Let's make it a new, living together tradition.”
Davina was previously married to Pet Rescue presenter Matthew Robertson, 53, in 2000, but they split in 2017.
They share three children together; daughters Holly, 21, and Tilly 19, and 16-year-old son Chester.
