David Walliams has revealed he has a marriage pact with Sheridan Smith.
The pair are playing husband and wife in a new show together, and opening up about the show, David revealed the duo have a pact to get married to one another if they're both still single at 90. David loves working alongside Sheridan.
He heaped praise on the star, insisting they "have a lot of fun together". David shared his marriage pact with Lorraine on her ITV breakfast show today, as the pair joked about marrying a friend later on in life if they were still single. Lorraine also confessed she also has a pact with someone to tie the knot with them too if they're both still single.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, he said: "We have a lot of fun together actually. We talk about getting married when we are older, when we have exhausted all other opportunities. Did you ever have those kind of pacts with someone?
"Do you know what I mean? 'If we are still single, aged 90, we will get married to each other.'"
It comes after Sheridan shared her excitement to be working with David again on a new show where she will be playing his wife.
"Reuniting with @dwalliams. Gonna be a fun one," she wrote alongside the post, before adding: "So looking forward to this job, gonna be too many giggles. Playing @dwalliams wife this time."
He then joked back: "And as everyone knows I am a method actor so we have to get married in real life."
Earlier this year, reports suggested David had signed up to celebrity dating app Raya in a bid to find love.
"It looks more like a chance to adopt a homeless puppy than to go on a date," a source told The Sun of his decision to put his dogs front and centre in his chosen pictures, "I half expected it to say, 'Enjoys long walks and lots of stroking.'
"Obviously David recognises there’s a certain appeal to his cute pets and has put them front and centre many of the pictures. In some of them you can barely even see him."
David is single, having split from his ex-wife model Lara Stone, who went their separate ways in 2015.
