Police have revealed details of the surveillance operation that led up to the arrest of a fugitive from Liverpool.
David Ungi and three other men were arrested as they enrolled at a gym in the town of Coin last week. Ungi, now 30, was wanted by Merseyside Police in relation to the fatal shooting of Vinny Waddington.
Vinny, 18, was the pillion passenger on a scrambler type motorbike when he was shot dead. Ungi, from south Liverpool, left the country 24 hours later.

Now more information has emerged about a search of a property in the Malaga area where Ungi and his associates had been staying prior to their arrest. Spanish police have said they recovered three firearms from the property.
Police have also revealed more information about the surveillance operation that led up to Ungi's arrest. Officers noticed that Ungi kept a shoulder bag with him 'at all times.'
Police suspected that Ungi was 'armed at all times even inside his home.' Policía Nacional, the country's national police body, said that Ungi and his associates led a 'secretive life' and used 'extreme security measures.'
Police also added that the weapon seized during Ungi's arrest at the gym was 'ready to fire. ' The men were 'taken by surprise' during the operation, police said.
A court granted a search warrant after the four men were arrested last Thursday. Yesterday the ECHO obtained police bodycam footage of the apartment search.
Ungi was arrested in relation to the murder of Vinny Waddington and in connection with the supply of heroin in the Liverpool area.
The three men arrested with Ungi have been held on suspicion of firearms offences and drug offences, police said.
The four men have all been remanded into custody following a court appearance. Ungi is now likely to be extradited to the UK.
Speaking last week after the arrest Detective Chief Inspector Cath Cummings said: “Merseyside Police remains relentless in its pursuit of criminals and will leave no stone unturned.
“We will continue to work closely with other law enforcement agencies, both in the UK, and overseas to trace those wanted for carrying out the most serious offences and bring them to justice.”
