Long-term Celtic target David Strelec's father has revealed the club are still interested in finally signing the Slovakian international striker.
Celtic had a deadline day bid for the Slovan Bratislava star back in January, with his club demanding £9 million, which also put off fellow suitors Middlesbrough.
Slovan were eliminated from the Champions League this week and blew the chance for a rematch with Celtic in the play-offs, after they were thrashed 5-1 in Glasgow last season in the league phases.

And Strelec's father - former Slovan star Milan Strelec - believes their defeat to Kairat Almaty could spark off a sale of the 24-year-old.
He said: "When Slovan were trying to win through to the main stages of the Champions League again, the club's management would not consider David's transfer.
"Or at least it was not high on their agenda.
"But now I presume things will start to happen before the August deadline.
"Things will start heating up around David again.
"As far as I know, several clubs are still interested, including Celtic and Middlesbrough and we know both had bids for him in the past.
"So I am curious what will happen in the remaining few days before the deadline."
