During a recent court hearing, David Pecker, the former CEO of American Media Inc., made a statement regarding his agreements with Donald Trump, stating that they were not put into writing because they were considered 'an agreement among friends.'

Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass questioned Pecker further, having him confirm that the positive stories published about Trump were mutually beneficial. However, Pecker also acknowledged that preventing negative stories from being printed about Trump only served to benefit the Trump campaign.
