During the testimony, David Pecker revealed that he was present at Donald Trump's presidential campaign announcement in June 2015. Pecker stated that he had been invited by Michael Cohen to attend the event at Trump Tower.

Pecker's attendance at the announcement holds significance due to his close ties with Trump. As the CEO of American Media Inc., Pecker had been known to have a favorable relationship with Trump, often using his media outlets to support the then-presidential candidate.
