West Ham United won't reach the UEFA Europa Conference League final unless they improve 'considerably' according to former defender Glen Johnson.
The Hammers lost to Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Europa League semi-final last year, capping a strong season with a seventh-placed finish in the Premier League and qualifying for the Conference League.
Though their league form has been disappointing, two wins from eight games including five losses, David Moyes' side have won both their games in the group stages in Europe this season.

Despite this start, ex-Hammers full back Johnson says the best West Ham will achieve in Europe this season is the semi-finals again if they don't improve on the pitch.
"West Ham need to improve considerably if they want to reach the final," Johnson told BoyleSports Football. "I think they'll make it to the quarters or the semi-finals on current form."
Moyes' side taken on RSC Anderlecht in Belgium on Thursday night, looking to make it three wins from three, before returning to domestic action on Sunday against newly promoted Fulham at the London Stadium.
West Ham won their last league game, 2-0 against Wolves, and will be looking to make it two wins on the bounce. And Johnson added that without a big squad, playing in Europe can be a hindrance.
"Playing in the Europa Conference League is certainly a lot of games, and it can be a hindrance on league form," he said. "Some people used to hope they missed out on the Europa League because of how many games it adds on, it is a hindrance, but only if you don't have the squad to handle it."
