After ending ties with Sean Dyche, Everton have reportedly agreed to join hands once again with David Moyes, with the 61-year-old set for his second stint as manager with the Premier League club.
Currently battling in the top-flight English competition, the club's new owners, the Friedkin Group, approached Moyes for the position -- according to reports.
Everton supporters hold Moyes in high regard following his successful 11-year tenure from 2002 to 2013, which included notable achievements such as finishing fourth in 2005 and reaching the FA Cup final in 2009.

It has also been reported that Moyes has accepted a two-and-a-half year deal to rejoin Everton, a club he left to join Manchester United as manager, but had a disappointing run. He has been without a position since concluding his role at West Ham last season.
While Graham Potter was initially Everton's preferred choice, he opted for West Ham instead. Additionally, Jose Mourinho, currently managing Fenerbahce in Turkey, reportedly showed no interest in the position.
Moyes is expected to begin Everton duty with the Premier League fixture against Aston Villa on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Dyche's two-year leadership role with Everton ended with a loss to Bournemouth on January 4.
Under Dyche's final stretch, the team secured only one victory in eleven matches, leaving them precariously positioned just one point above the relegation zone.
The club is expected to announce Moyes' appointment on Saturday. His primary responsibility will be steering Everton clear of relegation.
