West Ham United manager David Moyes has revealed that winger Maxwel Cornet will miss Sunday’s Premier League clash with Fulham at London Stadium.
The Hammers have a largely injury-free squad at present, although Ivorian international Cornet sat out of Thursday’s Europa Conference League win over Anderlecht after picking up a calf issue against Wolverhampton Wanderers on his full Premier League debut for the club.
Giving an update on Cornet ahead of Sunday’s clash with London rivals at the London Stadium, Moyes said that while he will miss the Wolves game, it is a short-term injury that could see him back in the squad to face Anderlecht next Thursday.

"Maxwel will not be available for the game,” said Moyes, as published by West Ham’s website. “He's got a small calf strain. I don't think it's as bad as we first feared, but it will keep him out for a few days.
"Elsewhere, we've got a few knocks and niggles but hopefully we'll be okay by the time we get to Sunday's game."
Centre-back Nayef Aguerd is also not set to be available for the Hammers as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury sustained in July. He is however in light training following his lengthy lay-off.
