David Moyes has believes Nayef Aguerd will get better for West Ham United after making his first Premier League start.
The £30mi summer signing from Stade Rennais completed 90 minutes for the club in the 2-2 draw against Leeds United on Wednesday night after he picked up an injury in pre-season which required surgery, ruling him out for the opening few months of the season.
He made his league debut just before the World Cup when he came off the bench in the 2-0 defeat to Leicester City but returned from Qatar with a virus and injury which prevented him from making another appearance.

The Moroccan was able to play the entire match at Elland Road and picked up a booking, with Moyes saying after that he will improve as he settles in England's top-flight.
"I think he is a really talented footballer," said Moyes. "Tonight wasn’t the easiest place to come and start but he got through it. He will get better the more games he gets in the Premier League."
Moyes also provided an update on Kurt Zouma, who is is edging closer to a return for West Ham The French defender started the season as the only fit centre-back option for the Hammers but picked up an injury just before the World Cup break and has not featured since.
Zouma underwent knee surgery in November and speaking after the 2-2 draw with Leeds United on Wednesday night, the Scottish coach revealed that the centreback is out on the grass as he steps up his recovery.
"I don’t think he is too far away," said Moyes. "He has been out on the grass quite a bit. He had a virus a week or two ago which has kept him back a week but we think he’s not too far away."
