David Moyes Celtic latest amid doubts of West Ham future

David Moyes is reportedly considering the merits of leaving West Ham.

It comes after week-long speculation linking the Scot with the vacant Celtic job.

The 60-year-old has just guided the Hammers to Europa Conference League glory, as his side defeated Fiorentina on Wednesday night.

But it's said that there remain doubts over his future in East London.

That could be ideal timing for Celtic, as they search for a permanent replacement for Ange Postecoglou, who joined Tottenham earlier this week.

It's expected that chairman David Sullivan will meet with Moyes today to discuss his future and the vision for the club over the coming years.

The ex-Everton and Manchester United boss has a contract that runs until the end of next season, and having delivered the club's first trophy since 1980, most would think that his job is safe.

However, the Daily Mail reports that on three occasions this season Moyes was at serious risk of the sack.

Their report claims that while he's delighted with the success this week, he's seriously considering walking away from his position.

Appearing on talkSPORT yesterday, Sullivan said: "David had a contract with us and has a contract with us until next summer - and next summer, we'll look at it again.

"Until then, if he wants to remain as manager then he will remain as manager of West Ham."
