Despite his bold efforts to secure the role, Ebon Moss-Bachrach ultimately landed the part of Ben Grimm in the film.
Although Krumholtz missed out on playing Ben Grimm, he remains enthusiastic about potentially joining the MCU in a different capacity. He recently expressed interest in portraying the Fantastic Four's villain Mole Man, emphasizing his genuine desire to be involved in Marvel projects. Krumholtz acknowledged the challenges he may face due to his age and physical shape but remains open to any opportunities Marvel may offer him.
