He bagged his first goal for the club in the 3-0 BetMcLean League Cup win over Annagh United at the start of November, before going on to make several other appearances from the bench.

"Liam has broken into our first team squad in recent weeks, having made 5 substitute appearances and scoring on his first team debut," Healy told the Linfield website.

"He’s a player I’ve known a lot about for a number of years, as I’ve seen quite a lot of him in youth football.

"I was delighted when he returned to us in the summer period and I look forward to continuing to work with him over the duration of his richly deserved first professional contract.

"He’s a very mature young man who is highly motivated and self driven.

"He is very focused on aiming to be the best player that he can possibly be and I know the news of this contract award will be well received by our supporters who’ve been impressed by his breakthrough appearances in the first team panel."
