Actor David Harbour’s first career Emmy win comes with a fitting reminder about individuality: success does not always come from following the path that everyone else has taken. Sometimes, it comes from figuring out what works for you, holding on to it and having the confidence to leave behind everything that does not.

Harbour, 51, won his first Emmy on Sunday at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys, taking home the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for his performance as Floyd Smernitch in HBO’s DTF St. Louis , according to People .
