David Blaine suffered a dislocated shoulder during his Las Vegas show and pleaded with audience members to help.
The 49-year-old illusionist became injured after leaping from an 80-foot distance into a pit of foam boxes.
However, the foam failed to cushion his right shoulder which was damaged on impact.
In the opening sequence, Blaine informed the audience that he was hurt, onlookers told TMZ.
He then recruited crew members to help him put his shoulder back into place.
As they tried to do so onstage, Blaine was seen grimacing with pain.
He then asked for assistance from any doctors in the audience leading to a number of people emerging and eventually managed to pop the shoulder back in.
Following the incident, he took a short break then impressed the audience by carrying on with the show.
A number of audience members took to social media to praise Blaine for soldiering on.
Blaine has reportedly been including increasingly risky and dangerous stunts to his shows.
On Friday, he admitted to almost blacking out onstage mid a routine in which he holds his breath while underwater in a tank.
In a December 17 show, his left hand became pierced after he slammed it over three cups - picked out by people in the crowd - that were positioned over an ice pick.
