David Beckham has shared footage of himself submerging into an ice bath at his Cotswolds home.
Wearing just a green hat, the footballer lowered himself into the sub-zero water for a morning dip at his Chipping Norton estate, which is just over an hour's drive from Bristol. During the short clip, he sits in the freezing tub and controls his breathing for several seconds.
The former Manchester United star wrote in the caption: ""WOW. Still thawing out days later."

Fans were quick to respond to the video, with many seeing the funny side.
One wrote: "Make sure you wear a hat!! You don’t want to catch a cold." Another said: "Better than my wheelie bin that I use."
People also started to debate if the practice was good for your health. One fan wrote: "Cold water immersion is so good for you. Important to get warm afterwards."
She then gave advice on the best amount of time to stay in the water: "1 min is already really good but optimally would be about 3 minutes. You can go longer but more then 5 doesn't bare much more fruits then 2-3 minutes for health benefits. Best is also to do breathing exercise before the ice bath. During the ice bath breathe through the nose and long exhales."
