England football legend David Beckham has snubbed all of his former Manchester United team-mates after being asked the best player he appeared alongside.
Beckham spent the first decade of his senior career playing for the Red Devils, before spells at Real Madrid, AC Milan, LA Galaxy and Paris Saint-Germain. He was also involved in the England national team for 13 years, captaining the Three Lions for six of those.
That meant he played alongside many greats of the game, including Ryan Giggs, Eric Cantona, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, Kaka, Ronaldinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. But only one of those greats was allowed to be named when Beckham was asked the greatest player who was his team-mate.
The legendary winger was featuring as the latest subject of Gary Neville's The Overlap YouTube channel 29 questions series. Among the subjects he was quizzed on was his best former team-mate, with Beckham snubbed his fellow United greats.
In a tongue-in-cheek response to Neville, Beckham named Zidane as the best player he featured with. Beckham said: "The best player I've ever played with, apart from you, Zidane."

Beckham played alongside Zidane for three years at Real Madrid, winning the Supercopa de Espana together. That was to be their only piece of silverware during the duo's time at the Bernabeu, with Zidane retiring a year before Beckham left the club for LA Galaxy.
Zidane is widely seen as one of the greatest attacking midfielders of all time, winning the World Cup, Champions League, La Liga and Serie A during his 18-year career. It does mean though that Beckham snubbed the players he starred alongside at United.
That is perhaps surprising given that Old Trafford is where Beckham enjoyed his most successful period, trophy wise. He won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the Champions League during his time with the Red Devils.
Beckham did give something back to United though, as he named club legend Bobby Charlton as the player from the past he would have liked to have played with most. He told Neville: "He was my dad's hero, it's why my middle name's Robert. So I'd loved to have played with Sir Bobby."
The legendary England skipper has not hidden his love of Zidane and the stock that he hold him in. Back in 2020, Beckham posted an image of the Frenchman waving to the crowd in his final match with Madrid and paid tribute to him in the caption.
"Very very lucky to have played against Zizou but one of the biggest moments in my career is lining up with him as a team mate.. This moment in his last game 14 years ago today wasn’t just emotional for him and us but the whole world .. Merci my friend," Beckham wrote.
