David Baddiel left The One Show's hosts in disbelief after revealing a little-known fact about his wife Morwenna Banks and her starring role in one of the most popular children's TV shows.
The 58-year-old comedian appeared on the BBC sofa alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, Gabrielle Union and comedy partner Frank Skinner on Thursday's episode. David and Frank have just released a festive version of their iconic Three Lions anthem ahead of the World Cup kicking off this weekend.
Jake and Gabrielle were discussing their starring roles voicing characters in the upcoming Disney animated film Strange World, when David chimed in with the surprising revelation. "This is interesting for me, because my wife - this is true - my wife is Mummy Pig in Peppa Pig."

Host Alex Jones quickly exclaimed: "No way!", while her shocked co-host Ronan Keating gasped: "What?!"
"It's complicated for a Jewish bloke, to be honest with you," David joked.
"There are children crying all over Britain," Frank added. "She isn't real?!"
"No, sorry - obviously, it's a pig," David assured young viewers. "But she has a lot of animation voice work, that's what she does."
61-year-old Morwenna, who has two children with husband David, is a writer and producer as well as an actress and voiceover star. She also voices the characters of Madame Gazelle and Dr Hamster in Peppa Pig.
