Dave Coulier would revive ‘Full House’ again ‘in a heartbeat,’ has plan for Bob Saget’s Danny Tanner

Don’t rule out more “Full House” revival episodes.

“Full House” star Dave Coulier would happily revive the family sitcom again — and says he has a plan to honor the late Bob Saget and his on-screen patriarch, Danny Tanner.

“We talk all the time how much we would love to do a show again,” the comedian, 62, said during a recent “Tamron Hall” appearance. “What I would love to do is bring all the original cast back to where we are older now and we talk about our lives and we spend those times and, you know, we can reflect and tell stories about Danny Tanner and keep his character alive, because he’s very much alive in spirit with all of us. We miss him dearly. And so I think we would all do it in a heartbeat.”

“Full House,” which premiered on ABC in 1987 and concluded after eight seasons in 1995, centered on the day-to-day lives of widower Danny Tanner whose best friend Joey (Coulier) and brother-in-law Jesse (John Stamos) help him to raise his three daughters. The daughters, D.J., Stephanie and Michelle were played respectively by Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and the Olsen twins.

Netflix debuted “Fuller House” in 2016, reuniting the original cast. The revival concluded in 2020, after five seasons.

“We just love working and we love our fans so much. And we love the whole process,” said Coulier. “We just love what the show is and what it means to people. So we’re always raring to go. Hey, ABC, we started on ABC. C’mon, let’s do another one.”

Coulier joked that a second revival could be called, “Fullest House.”

Appearing on “Today” back in March alongside Bure and Andrea Barber, who starred as Kimmy on both the original and revival, Coulier and his former co-stars weighed in on another spin-off.

“It would be hard, but I think Bob would want that,” said Barber, 45.

The “Full House” cast came together earlier this year to honor Saget after his sudden death in January. He was 65.
