Professional sports have found a home in Las Vegas, just as Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams found a home there when the franchise traded for him in March.
Now, Adams has signed a deal with a massive gaming and entertainment presence on the Las Vegas Strip and beyond, MGM Resorts International. Adams is the first active NFL player to earn the title of brand ambassador for the company.

MGM Resorts operates many of the world-famous gaming and entertainment destinations on the Las Vegas Strip, including the Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, and the MGM Grand. The company is also the official gaming partner of the Raiders, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
After the NFL shunned the gaming industry for years in fear of losing integrity, the Raiders’ arrival in Las Vegas has altered the landscape significantly. In fact, an active NFL player signing this type of deal could be unbelievable for some. With that in mind, here’s proof from Adams and MGM themselves.

Adams has racked up endorsements since joining the Raiders, as he’s appeared in ads for Taco Bell and Tide. His deal with MGM puts an exclamation point on the shift in attitudes concerning gaming and professional sports in the NFL.
Naturally, one of Las Vegas’ own in Adams was a great choice for MGM Resorts. In addition to signaling a closer relationship with gaming companies and the NFL, this deal is a clear indicator that the Raiders have an international superstar on their hands. They hope to parlay that into a winning streak that ends in a Super Bowl trophy.
