Daughter's heartbreaking appeal for answers 33 years after her dad was murdered in bed

A daughter is appealing for information regarding her dad's murder decades later. When Emma Childerley was five years old a ruthless killer broke into her family home in Mansfield Woodhouse on February 19, 1990.

The killer climbed through a kitchen window with an axe and brutally attacked her parents in their bedroom, bludgeoning her dad Kevin to death at age 30 and leaving her mum Denise fighting for her life in hospital. Now 38, Emma explained that those responsible have never been brought to justice as the case remains open, despite an extensive investigation and two arrests.

Emma is desperate to see her father's killer behind bars after the incident ripped her family apart and robbed her of a lifetime of memories, with her dad never being able to meet her three children. Emma's brother Ben, who was five months old at the time, was never able to form a lasting bond with their dad.
